For this years Children In Need we wore spots, stripes or both! Our class raised £ 15.50 in total.
In science we have continued to investigate properties of materials- particularly reversible changes.
We had paper clips in rice, raisins in flour, sand in water and salt in water, We used sieves, filter papers and funnels, a magnet and evaporation to reverse the mixed materials- see how we got on.

In Computing, we have been using Scratch to programme sprites to touch and react to being touched by using different programming blocks. We chose a suitable background with goodie and baddie sprites that moved and when they touched some would speak, bounce back or jump.
In Maths, we have been learning Roman numerals to 1000. We used lolly sticks to make different numbers.
In Science, we have been sorting different materials. Recently we have looked at materials that will dissolve and those that would not. We tested different materials such as, gravy granules, sand, salt, sugar, tea leaves, powder paint. We worked scientifically by using the same amount of water and materials.
In RE we have been looking at the similarities and differences of The Qur'an and The Bible. We worked in groups and discussed the statements.
