We are artists
In Year 5 this term, we are focusing on the story of The Willow Pattern. The Chinese fable of an eloping couple transforming into doves became of one the most identifiable designs of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The children are have been beginning to design elements for their own Willow Pattern plates. Here they are using chalk and crayons to create a transfer design of their own bird drawings.
